While Covid is making some of the plans a little harder, if you are out of romantic ideas, we still have plenty of them to put into action. 

One of the things couples miss the most is getting out to a nice restaurant, ordering a delicious drink, and just enjoying the night. Staying at home all the time with your partner can shake things, but with some creativity, effort, and our amazing romantic ideas, you can do this. Besides, what better time to do this than now? Get out of the COVID routine without having to go out. Everybody loves a present, but a box full of them? I’m in. Decorate your house with heartstrings, swirls, and a love balloon to set the mood. Order food from your favorite restaurant and be ready. Prepare “The Box of Senses” with 5 human senses. For smell, you can buy their favorite perfume or cologne. For sound, a cd or a playlist with all your romantic songs in a pen-drive.

For sight, how about asking someone to make your favorite photo a draw? It can also be a photo portrait. For taste, hmmm. How about a chocolate bomb for you both to smash together? And for touch creams, oils and even a nice shirt can finalize the combo.

So, turn off the light, light it up some candles and just enjoy the moment. It is also a very nice form to enjoy the day while helping local companies, and of course the animals.

A 365 days message bottle. Well, it doesn’t have to be 365. But it is a nice way to tell your partner good things about him/her, good things about your relationship, or to simply light up their mood during a bad day. You can write compliments, funny things, “I love you” or “Have a good day” on post-its and fill a bottle or a jar with it and give it to your partner. They can take one message from it whenever they feel like they need one. Another option is to put the messages inside small colorful pills making some sort of “Capsuled messages”.

A scrapbook with messages you sent to each other along the year, just in case you want to remember them in the future. In 10 years, you can have another Valentine’s Day dinner and open it together to travel back in time. I bet there’s going to be a lot of laughs… Is also a good way to remember how things were in the beginning. One way to pack the scrapbook is to put it inside of a big box filled with “I love you Balloons” to surprise your partner when the box is open, lots of chocolate, and maybe a bottle of wine or champagne.
