- -Measure 2, 1 ½ inch strips and cut them out. The length of the paper can be anywhere from about 10 to 12 inches long.
- -Score the paper every half inch
- -Fold each strip of paper in accordion-type fashion, each section of the fold should be half an inch wide
- -Glue the ends together, then grab the other two ends and glue those together to make a circle.
- -Cut a circle out of cardstock, then Put down a glob of hot glue on the cardstock circle and then press your accordion into a flat circle and press it down into the hot glue.
- -Glue a smaller circle onto the front to make sure it stays flat.
- -Next, grab some scrap cardstock and cut out a rectangle. Fold it in half lengthwise, and then cut a triangle from the bottom. This should like a ribbon
- -Trace that twice onto another colour of cardstock and cut it out.
- -Print out a design that fits within a 2-inch circle and cut it out.
- -Trace another circle bigger than the 2-inch circle on another colour of cardstock.
Now it is time to assemble our medallion!
- -First, glue together the two circles. Then glue those onto the medallion.
- -Glue the ribbons, use a bit more glue to attach them.
- -Finally, glue one more circle at the back to cover up the different layers.
You can glue this medallion onto the front of a card or glue a pin back onto it instead and then pin it in front of the card.
